Climbing the
Leaderboards.
How leaderboards work, how rewards are distributed, and strategies to climb the rankings.
How Leaderboards Work
Pickr runs separate leaderboards for each game (CS2, Valorant, LoL, Dota 2, R6 Siege) across three time periods. Your Points from correct predictions determine your rank. The higher you finish, the more Coins you earn.

Prize pool formula: Base reward × total players. For example, 1,000 weekly players = 150,000 coin pool. The pool grows as more players join.
Reward Distribution
The top 50% of players earn Coin rewards. Distribution follows exponential decay — top finishers earn significantly more, but even middle-of-the-pack players get rewarded.
| Rank | Approx. Weekly Reward |
|---|---|
| 1st | ~1,200 coins |
| 2nd | ~1,050 coins |
| 3rd | ~920 coins |
| 5th | ~700 coins |
| 10th | ~370 coins |
| 25th | ~60 coins |
| 50th | ~1 coin |
| 51+ | 0 |
Based on 100 players in weekly leaderboard (15,000 coin pool). Actual rewards scale with player count.
How Points Work
Your leaderboard rank is determined by Points earned from predictions. Here's the base scoring:
| Outcome | XP | Coins | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wrong prediction | 10 | 0 | 0 |
| Winner correct | 20 | 10 | 100 |
| Winner + exact score | 20 | 15 | 200 |
Community Factor: When you pick the less-popular team and they win, you earn up to 1.6x more Points. The formula accounts for community prediction split — going against the crowd is rewarded.
Stacking Multipliers
Base Points can be multiplied by stickers and boosters. These stack multiplicatively (they multiply together) up to a 25x total cap.

Example: Exact score (200 pts) × Level 5 sticker (1.23x) × Crowd Wisdom booster (1.5x) = 369 points from a single prediction.
Tournaments
Tournaments are time-limited events tied to specific esports series. Pay a Coin entry fee, predict matches in that series, and compete on a dedicated leaderboard.
Tournament predictions also count toward your game leaderboard — you compete in both simultaneously.
Scoring Strategies
- Volume matters — there's no penalty for wrong predictions (you still earn 10 XP), so predict every match you can
- Exact score predictions earn double the points — always try to predict the score, not just the winner
- Picking the less-popular team gives up to 1.6x more points when they win (community factor)
- Stack stickers + boosters on your highest-confidence predictions for maximum point multipliers
- Focus on games you know well — better accuracy beats random volume every time
- Check the leaderboard early in the week to see where you stand and adjust your strategy
